Fall/Winter CSA Share Program
We are pleased to announce our Second Fall/Winter CSA Share Program bringing the local harvest from Lucky Field Organics and other area farms right to you. Fall vegetables, root crops, fall fruits and seasonal greens grown under row cover and in the green-houses, will continue the pleasure of seasonal eating. We are also including vacuum sealed treasures and preserved foods from the summer such as simple fresh tomato sauce and other inspired foods from the farm. We listened to the feedback from members last season and are trying things a little differently this year.
Last year we divided the shares into five pick up days, with the fifth and final one in January. This season we are going to provide the same amount of food, if not a little more, into four pick up days. Since a good portion of the share is preserved, or is a crop that can be stored and kept well, there was consensus that the January pick up was unnecessary. Having more of the share for the holidays and eliminating the pick up in January seemed to be a positive change. We keep working to make the pick up convenient and something to look forward to.
The cost breaks down to $27.50 a week for 10 weeks worth of food (provided on four pick up days) with a selection of seasonal produce including winter squashes, sugar pumpkins, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, celeriac, beets, parsnips, Macomber turnips, cranberries and apples to last you into January. We also will include seasonal greens from our green houses, as well as vacuum-packed and preserved treasures from the summer's bounty.
Sign up soon as we expect to sell these shares very quickly; last year's shares were all sold in a few days of our first email. Remember . . . We'll pack it up, and you pick it up.
Four pick up days, one every other Saturday beginning November 7th and continuing through December 19th, providing extended seasonal eating in January for $275.00.
The pick days will begin on November 7th and continue every other Saturday until December 19th.
Pick ups will be on Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm at How-On-Earth - The Store in Mattapoisett.

SHAREHOLDER AGREEMENT
I understand that Lucky Field Organics will do its best to provide me with fresh produce weekly. However, I also understand that I am not guaranteed any particular produce, and, like any organic farm, Lucky Field Organics is subject to factors outside anyone’s control, including insect pressure, blight, and unfavorable weather conditions. I have read and understand this CSA registration form, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
